This painting started as quite a tame still life painting. But as I progressed, it felt like it got wilder and wilder- a glorious explosion of all things I love- great books, botanicals, good food.
I had to allow the painting to be what it wanted to be- WILD!
There's so much to see, you have to get close up to appreciate all the details.
This piece sings colour and movement, even with objects as simple as books and fruit.
