I’m not giving up yet….

A strengthening and a softening.

A challenge of old beliefs and old responses.

A shedding of the old container for capacity to hold the new.

I’ve been listening to Raye’s ‘Lifeboat’ on repeat lately- and thinking about not giving up when you can’t yet see where it’s all heading.

That long season of not knowing…no guarantees…and still going anyway.

The people who don’t give up on the things that really matter to them are the ones who get to discover what’s on the other side.

Even the so-called overnight success stories- most are at least 10 years in the making before anything significant happens. (What is significant? A thought for another time).

It’s never just about the outcome.

It’s about what shifts inside you as you keep showing up. Something that is beyond the outer layers, superficial life hacks- a deeper work from the inside out.

A strengthening and a softening. A challenge of old beliefs and old responses. A shedding of the old container for capacity to hold the new.

Now, more often than not, when I’m doing hard things, rather than hating or shaming myself into change, I feel a lightness and joy that well up from inside me.

This shift feels really good in my soul.

That no matter the outcome, I’m ok with me.

Don’t let the absence of results tell you nothing is happening- don’t give up- look at who you’re becoming.

PS - highly recommend turning this song up loud in your car, enjoy the moment.
